Add pups to a litter
Add individual puppies to a litter in Whelpkeep, give each a name or label, record sex and colour, and open a pup's own page.
Each puppy gets its own pup in Whelpkeep, with its own page for photos, growth and status. Add them once the litter exists.
Before you start
Create the litter first. You add pups from inside the litter.
Add a pup
- Open the litter and click Add pup.
- Give the pup a name or label. A simple label like "Green collar" is fine.
- Add a sex and colour if you know them.
- Click Save.
Repeat for each puppy in the litter.
Open a pup's page
Click a pup to open its own page. From here you can:
- Add photos and weights, which feed the growth chart.
- Track the pup's status.
- Click Generate listing to produce a ready-to-post advertisement.
Tip โ You can add a pup before you've settled on a name. Use a collar colour or number now and update it later from the pup's page.
Next
When a pup is ready to advertise, generate a listing. For every field on a pup, see the Pups reference.
