Set up your account

Setting up takes a couple of minutes. You'll create a login, name your kennel, and your free trial starts automatically.

Before you start

You'll need an email address you can check now (to confirm your account). Have your kennel name and your state breeder ID handy if you have one — but you can add the ID later.

Steps

1. Go to the sign-up page and enter your email and a password.
2. Tick to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Create account.
3. Open the confirmation email and click the link to verify your address. (No email? Check spam, then use Resend.)
4. Back in Whelpkeep, enter your kennel name when prompted. This is the name buyers will see.
5. Click Continue. You'll land on your dashboard, and your six-week free trial starts now.

Note — Your trial clock starts when you name your kennel, not when you sign up. Naming your kennel is the moment Whelpkeep is ready to use.

What you get on the trial

For six weeks you have the full product: deposits, the document reader, listings, compliance tracking and buyer pages — with no card required. See Plans & pricing for what happens when the trial ends.

Turn on extra security (optional)

You can add two-factor authentication from Account & Settings → Security & Billing. You'll scan a QR code with an authenticator app; after that, logging in asks for a 6-digit code. It's optional but recommended. See Managing your subscription for where these settings live.
